I put this up on Tumblr too (where I am sudo-bash) but no one has asked me any yet T_______T So I am reposting it here.

Feel free to ask me on Tumblr too!

12. What WIPs do you have going now? Are you excited about them?
13. Are there any things that might have happened in any of your stories, but you changed them at the last minute? (So-and-so dies, they don't actually kiss, main character has long extended ballet-based dream sequence, etc.)

It's becaaaaaaause I wasn't following you when you reblogged it. :(

But I'm going to ask the same question I asked erunamiryene, because it's the questions I'm most curious about :) -- #3, #6, and, actually, #11, because I suspect I'm then going to read it. :)

No worries, I assumed as much.

Yay, now I just need to see what those questions are and come up with some good answers ^_^

#3 - Which was the hardest to write, in terms of plot?

I'm going to go with The Modern Ghoul, a Doctor Who fic that I wrote for Zombie Fest 2012. I fell in love with the prompt, Eight takes Mary Shelley to meet H.P. Lovecraft, and in turn, Eight and Mary inspire Lovecraft's zombie-esque fiction, but it was challenging because I haven't actually seen the Doctor Who TV movie, which is Eight's main appearance, or read any Lovecraft! So I had to do a lot of research for this one.

I'm definitely happy with how it turned out, though I recently found out that Lovecraft was actually a bit of an asshole in RL, so he's probably OOC. But I think I might like my version of him better than the real one =P

#6 - Idea that you always wanted to write but could never make work?

I actually had a LOT of ideas that I ended up paring down because my list was getting too long (you've seen how long my list is now ... it was worse).

The main one I regret was a post DA2 one that I was writing to help come to terms with the end results of my Anders romance where I supported the mages and ran off with him. I just didn't have enough plot to make it work. I still have a great scene in my mind where Hawke and Anders go to Andoral's Reach when the conclave of the College of Enchanter was held that led to the Circles being dissolved and Hawke is all decked out how she is described in Tale of the Champion (I have never played a Hawke who kept the blood smear tattoo but figure he/she has it in the book). I sometimes thing about just writing it. Maybe now that we have more canon for Hawke, I can find a way to re-purpose it.

I also had another Hawke/Anders thing in the work that I ended up scrapping but I think I might be able to do something else with the idea, so I'll keep that one to myself for the time being ^____^

#11 - If I'm showing off just one of your pieces to someone, which one should it be?

@__________________________________________________@

I am going to cheat and go with a fic for each of my main "fandoms" over the past years. Because I don't want to pick just one. Plus, I actually don't think if I picked one that it would be a DA fic, and I'm not sure if you would be interested in reading the others :P

Battlestar Galactica:

Hair of the Dog, an Adama/Roslin fic in which Laura and Bill think about Bill's rapid descent into alcoholism. If I really did have to choose just one, I think this is it. It also is the fic that received my absolute favourite review of all time.

Vampire Diaries

Let Us Adore Him, a Caroline/Klaus fic set immediately after the episode "O Come, All Ye Faithful" (hence the title). Basically, this is a scene I was hoping would actually happen in the episode, and when it didn't, I just wrote it myself.

Dragon Age

The Mistress, my giant WIP that I swear will be finished at some point. I'm a bit hesitant to pick this one because it's not finished but it really is my favourite of what I've done written in the DA world. I just really, really adore my version of Elissa Cousland, she's awesome. And I love Alistair even more so writing them together is a lot of fun.
